I built my career questioning conventional wisdom.




My story
I have never been good at following a script. My path has always been a form of polite disobedience, driven by a mix of non-conformist curiosity and the constant suspicion that "this is how it’s always been done" is rarely a good reason to keep doing it. That impulse is exactly what took me from Spain to Canada. Immersing myself in a completely new culture and language is a humbling exercise that I would recommend without hesitation. Sooner or later, you discover that it is far more important to learn how to listen than to simply remember the need to stay quiet. It was through that process of starting from scratch that, paradoxically, I truly began to recognize myself. Now, back in Spain, I have learned that I do not need to have all the answers beforehand to be effective. In fact, my real value lies in staying in that space of not fully knowing. Questioning, observing, and continuing to explore until things start to fall into place naturally, as if the right answer had been hiding in plain sight all along, too obvious to miss, just waiting for those who know how to hold space and listen long enough to recognize it.

I built my career questioning
conventional wisdom




My story
I have never been good at following a script. My path has always been a form of polite disobedience, driven by a mix of non-conformist curiosity and the constant suspicion that "this is how it’s always been done" is rarely a good reason to keep doing it. That impulse is exactly what took me from Spain to Canada. Immersing myself in a completely new culture and language is a humbling exercise that I would recommend without hesitation. Sooner or later, you discover that it is far more important to learn how to listen than to simply remember the need to stay quiet. It was through that process of starting from scratch that, paradoxically, I truly began to recognize myself. Now, back in Spain, I have learned that I do not need to have all the answers beforehand to be effective. In fact, my real value lies in staying in that space of not fully knowing. Questioning, observing, and continuing to explore until things start to fall into place naturally, as if the right answer had been hiding in plain sight all along, too obvious to miss, just waiting for those who know how to hold space and listen long enough to recognize it.
